National History Day in KC

On March 5, 2016, 650 students from the Kansas City Region met at the Harry S Truman Museum and Library to compete and defend their research products on historical topics of their choice in the 2016 National History Day Regional Competition.​

GAM Student Contest PSA Participants:
Thank you very much for your submission into the GAM PSA Contest!!  There were many great entries, and deciding on winners was very difficult.  You are all winners, because you are advocates for gifted education and not afraid to stand up for your rights as gifted students.  That is admirable, and GAM would like to express appreciation to each of you.  Thank you for supporting GAM and gifted education in Missouri.  Winners will be notified individually on Friday, February 12, 2016.  We apologize for the delay and any problems with submissions.  We hope to see you all at Gifted Education Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.  Thanks again, and great job!

​Conference on Academic Acceleration, July 24-26, 2016!

The Belin-Blank Center at the University of Iowa is offering a conference focused on academic acceleration for gifted education teachers, administrators, and school counselors. Parents are also welcome to attend.
