A Message from Our President

We hope you enjoy the information and opportunities made available on our new website. GAM is Missouri's only state wide organization providing support and advocacy for gifted students. This year we held our 35th annual statewide conference for gifted education. In addition to the state conference held every October, we host various regional conferences and seminars around the state and throughout the year. We sponsor scholarships and awards for educators, parents, students and friends of gifted. We provide an annual New Teacher Workshop that helps train teachers in the process of gifted certification. Your membership helps provide legislative advocacy in Jefferson City, the publishing or our quarterly magazine the GAMbit, and publishing of our Handbook on gifted education. We also provide expert speakers for parent groups and educational seminars.
